The Good Samaritan

Let me tell you a secret told a long time ago
About a man from Jerusalem
And what happened on the road.
He was robbed and beaten
And left there to die.
Then a Good Samaritan came passing by.

Pour the blood on your brother.
Put the love in his soul.
Your prayers are his bandages,
Help him carry the load.

A priest wouldn't help him.
He chose to pass on the side.
A holy man came by
And he didn't even cry.
Then a Good Samaritan came passing by.

The robbers were his brothers.
Their words beat him down.
They killed his anointing
And left him lying on the ground.
Are you the priest or the holy man?
Will you put your hand down?
